Our Lodge is situated in the peaceful village of Les Gauchoirs, where the only noise is the gentle gurgling of the local stream and the occasional passing tractor of a neighbourly farmer. The building itself dates back over two hundred years and is in the typical style of the area. It offers views of the surrounding Ecrins National Park, down the valley to the raging Veneon river and up to Les Deux Alpes ski slopes.
Our aim is for guests to want to come back again and again. For this reason, we strive to offer a highly personalised service at incredible value for money. As business owners and hosts, we strive to provide a level of care, attention to detail and knowledge of the local area that you rarely find with larger chalet companies. From your first enquiry to the moment you leave, we are here to help you with every detail of your trip - airport transfers, equipment hire, guides, ski lessons and proposed skiing and cycling routes.

Most of our guests choose our half-board option because Will, one of the co-owners, is a professional chef. The half-board formula also takes the stress out of cooking at the end of a hard day on the slopes or on the bike. We pride ourselves on our high standard of catering and the flexibility of our menus. Will is constantly developing new dishes inspired by local seasonal produce and is always happy to adapt our catering to meet guests’ dietary needs or preferences. The half-board option includes breakfast, afternoon tea (winter) or pasta salad (summer) and a three course evening. We can also offer packed lunches for a small additional fee and a small licensed honesty bar.
