FOOD AND DRINK
Our home-prepared meals are one of the main reasons why our guests choose our Lodge. With more than a decade of experience cooking for VIP guests in luxury mountain resorts and on private yachts, we pride ourselves on providing hearty and delicious menus for our guests. We recommend our half-board option, although in summer we can provide a B&B option.
Our half board package includes a continental breakfast of fresh croissants, toast, cereals, yogurts, jams, honey, marmite, juice, tea, coffee and fresh fruit.
Lunch is generally not provided, but we are happy to recommend some excellent local restaurants. However packed lunches can be arranged if ordered in advance.
Afternoon tea and cake (or pasta salads for hungry cyclists) is provided between 4pm and 5pm everyday.
Our evening meal is a special occasion for our guests. A chance to relax with fellow guests around our dining table, over a delicious three-course meal – all washed down with an excellent local house wine or a cool beer. During summer months many of these meals will be served outside on the terrace and will often feature fresh meats and vegetables on the barbeque.
