Catering at the Ecrins Lodge is one of the main highlights for our guest’s visits. With over a decade's experience of cooking for VIP guests in winter chalets, restaurants and exclusive private motor yachts, Will, your host and chef is well qualified to cater for your needs.
Throughout the summer, lighter more healthy meals are provided and these menus can be specifically designed to assist those involved with sporting activities.
Our summer half-board formula is designed to take the stress out of cooking at the end of a long day. These home-prepared meals are one of the main reasons why guests choose our Lodge.
The half-board formula includes a continental breakfast of fresh croissants, toast, cereals, yogurts, jams, honey, marmite, juice, tea, coffee and fresh fruit. In addition we often provide a different hot option such as boiled eggs, French toast or pancakes.
Lunch is generally not provided, but we are happy to recommend some excellent restaurants on the mountain. Packed lunches can also be arranged for a small additional fee, if ordered in advance.
Tea and coffee are available all day and cake or biscuits are provided between 4 and 6. In addition for those involved with sporting activities with need of a quick re fuel, a large pasta salad is often available.
Our evening meal is a special occasion for our guests. A chance to relax with fellow guests around our dining table or outside on the deck, over a delicious three-course meal – all washed down with an excellent local house wine or a cool beer.
Apart from peak weeks, a bed and breakfast option is also available, so you can enjoy eating out in many of the local restaurants.
