Road Cycling Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d'Huez and the Oisans region

The Oisans area has long been famous for cycling with its six different valleys leading to a number of often snow lined mountain passes. Solitary meandering roads will lead you through tiny picturesque villages stooped with history or along the banks of glacial fed mountain streams. Once again this year the area is host to the finish of one of the signature mountain stages of the tour De France at the end of the gruelling climb up to the Alp D’Huez.

Our Lodge is an ideal location for cyclists in the heart of the Oisans region 8km along the valley from Le Bourg D’Oisans and at the foot of many classic cycling routes such as the Col de Galibier, Col de Lauteret, Col D’Ornon, Col de la Croix de Fer and of course the famous Alp  D’Huez climb. After a hard day exploring this vast area you will appreciate the valley location of our welcoming Lodge.
